Body sugaring is the best method of hair removal for decreasing hair growth. The sugar paste is 100% all-natural and eco-friendly. It’s made from a combination of sugar, citric acid, purified distilled water, and Acacia. This service is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. Your skin will be left to feel soft and gently exfoliated. Most clients find sugaring to be less painful than traditional waxing methods.
If you shave frequently, please schedule your sugaring appointment 2 weeks from your LAST SHAVE… NOT SOONER!
For best results, keep your skin exfoliated and hydrated, however, DO NOT exfoliate the day before or the day of treatment.
NOTE FOR FIRST TIME FACE AND/OR BACK AREA SUGARING SERVICES: IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU GET A PATCH TEST DONE FIRST!

How does body sugaring work?
The warmed sugar paste is molded onto the body area several times using a gloved hand. As this is being molded, the sugar paste is able to melt into the hair follicle allowing an easier, gentle extraction from the root. With a flicking motion, the hair is gently lifted out of the follicle by the root.
Does sugaring hurt?
Sugaring removes the hair by the roots so you will feel the extraction and it may cause some discomfort. With repeated treatments, this sensation is often minimized as the hair becomes more refined and a hair bulb is smaller.
How long does it last?
The rate of hair growth depends on the individual person. Expect to be ready for another sugaring within 3 to 6 weeks. Hair can be extracted as short as 1/16 inch. For a quicker diminishment of hair growth, do not allow it to get any longer than 1/8 inch.
What should I do BEFORE my appointment?
No sun tanning prior to treatment. Avoid stimulants such as caffeine. Keeping your skin exfoliated and hydrated is very important, however, do not exfoliate the day before or the day of treatment.
What should I do AFTER my appointment?
You may feel a little sensitive. Do not touch the area for the next few hours. Avoid any creams, lotions, or deodorant with artificial fragrances. Do not use any products with hydroxy acids for at least 24 to 48 hours. This could cause more sensitivity. If you are getting this service done on your back area, please bring with you an additional, clean, dry, shirt/blouse than what you arrived in.
What can I do if my skin becomes sensitized?
To speed healing, you can apply the following saltwater compress: Dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water. Saturate a cotton pad and apply to the affected area. The following Dead Sea Salt Soak is also beneficial: Dissolve a cup of Dead Sea Salts into a warm tub. Soak in it for no longer than 15 minutes, or your skin will become dehydrated.
How do I prevent ingrown hairs?
On a regular basis, use a method of gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells. After a sugaring service, the hair is missing out of the follicle for approximately three weeks This allows the dead skin cells to grow over the mouth of the follicle. Exfoliating will allow the hair to grow up and out.
May I have sex after a bikini sugaring?
Medical experts recommend abstaining from sexual activity for the first 48 hours after any type of bikini hair removal. This time period is when your body is most susceptible to outside bacteria which can potentially cause an infection. After a sugaring treatment in this area, please thoroughly cleanse the skin with gentle soap the evening of your treatment and following morning.
