Just a friendly reminder that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and on October 24, I’ll once again be facilitating a free makeup lesson for the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good, Feel Better” program at the Cancer Support Community Center in West Los Angeles. This program gives women the information and tools they can use to cope with the physical side affects of their cancer treatment such as hair loss, dry skin and brittle, discolored nails. If you or someone you know has cancer, and is interested in attending any LGFB session, please call the ACS today at (800) 227-2345, ext. 5 to sign up.
ALSO, if you haven’t already done so, please purchase my Brow Hero Brush. It’s a 3-n-1 eyebrow brush that helps women re-create realistic eyebrow hairs when used with a waterproof gel. For every one brush sold, I donate a brush to the LGFB program through the Personal Care Products Council. This council puts together and gives each participant an amazing makeup kit which will now include my brush alongside other top tier makeup brands.
This next quarter, I’m scheduled to send a minimum of 1000 brushes to the Products Council and I really need your help in meeting this goal. It’s very easy to do:
- Go to browhero.com or moniquepowers.com and click on the Brow Hero Brush. OR
- Call me directly at 310-869-8383 to purchase your brush over the phone If I don’t pick up right away, please leave me a message. I’m either with a client or on the other line but I promise I will call you back.
In the meantime, thank you so much for helping me with my endeavor to reach out and encourage women battling cancer. If you have any personal skin care concerns or you need some beauty advice, please email me at monique@moniquepowers.com.
Thanks again and please forward to anyone who might be willing to help.
